MILESTONE PROJECTS

  • KELAN WIND FARM

     

    100MW Project (Location: Kelan Country, Shanxi Province, China)

     

     

    The Kelan wind farm is located on a mountain with an elevation of approximately 1,876m to 2,010m. Using 50 units of 2MW GoldWind direct-drive turbines, it supplies clean energy to approximately 100,000 homes in the region. The project is capable of offsetting 75,100 tons of standard coal, 1,617.2 tons of sulfur dioxide (SO2), 3,732 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) and 29,720 tons of soot emissions annually.

    The Qinxian Wind Farm is the first wind farm to be introduced to the southeast-central part of Shanxi, kicking off the region’s journey of transition from coal to wind energy in generating electricity.

    The Qinxian Wind Farm is the first wind farm to be introduced to the southeast-central part of Shanxi, kicking off the region’s journey of transition from coal to wind energy in generating electricity. 

  • HUANGPI CENTRALIZED ENERGY STORAGE POWER STATION

     

    50MW/100MWh Project (Location: Linkong Industrial Zone, Huangpi District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China)


    The Huangpi project is the first-ever independent "shared" large-scale energy storage power station in Wuhan. It has a capacity of 50MW/100MWh and is powered by 15 iron phosphate battery storage units, allowing it to supply electricity to the Lingonggang industrial zone. Each unit is equipped with two 1725kW PCS converters and connected to a 3450kVA dry-type transformer to boost voltage to 35KV.

    This innovative photovoltaic (PV)-agriculture project provides a comprehensive land resource solution to the local government. Through PV-agricultural technological breakthroughs and smart adaptation to local conditions, the project maximizes land use. Xishui's solar PV + Pomegranate Tree and solar PV + Aquaculture (Rice and Shrimp) models offer viable solutions to meet the growing demands for food and sustainable energy production in the region, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the agricultural sector.

  • MIPOPO DISTRIBUTED ROOFTOP SOLAR PROJECT

     

    2.6MW Project (Location: Xiaogan City , Hubei Province , China)


    This distributed solar PV project generates over 236,489kWh of clean power annually, resulting in the reduction of 71,000 tons of standard coal, 15.39 tons of sulfur dioxide (SO2), 35.52 tons of nitrogen oxide (NO2), 230,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2), and 29,000 tons of ash each year for Mipopo, the leading rice wine manufacturer in China. 

    MIPOPO DISTRIBUTED ROOFTOP SOLAR PROJECT

     

    2.6MW Project (Location: Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, China)​


    Its success sets a precedent for industrial zones to prioritize self-sustenance by being more reliant on on-grid solar energy as a supplementary power source. As a result, the manufacturer's signature product, rice wine, is one of the first commercial products in the country powered by the sun. The project is estimated to generate a total of 59.12231 million kWh of green electricity over 25 years of operation, thereby tremendously increasing the output of clean energy.

  • JINGLE ASSET MANAGEMENT

     

    200MW Project (Asset Management)


    Our work on the Jingle Phase II 200MW wind farm asset was focused on delivering innovative analysis, optimization and condition monitoring services. Our responsibilities included remote site monitoring, planning of all maintenance work, budget forecasting, data management and transparent reporting of the asset’s operational performance, for a total 32 units of 3.2MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and 37 units of 2.65MW WTGs.

    WMI offers consultancy services to a prominent securities firm, focusing on a portfolio of renewable REPITs in China that exceeds 1GW in capacity. Our responsibilities include merging and acquiring individual renewable energy (RE) projects into the REPITs, as well as conducting annual appraisals and asset management monitoring for up to 25 years.

  • ASEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY MARKET INVESTMENT ENTRY

    On behalf of an investor, WMI sought co-investment project opportunities on a 500MW portfolio target across more than half of the ASEAN markets. We generated Market Entry Reports that examined macro- and micro-economic conditions, tariffs, regulatory framework, grid, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). Our five-year investment strategy covers the cooperative investment and development of RE projects.

  • GOLMUD WIND FARM

     

    50MW Project (Location: Goldmud City, Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, China) 


    The Golmud 50MW Wind Farm is in a basin and foothills area with an elevation of over 2,800m. Our scope included land identification, resource assessment, and permit and license applications. In doing so, we helped the client achieve stable regional grid connectivity, optimized power output, and promoted power grid resilience. The project offsets 47,000 tons of standard coal, 530 tons of sulfur dioxide (SO2), 142,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2), and 636 tons of soot emissions annually.
