WindMagics is recognized as the ‘Hubei Provincial Enterprise Advanced Technology Center’ for its contribution to scientific and technological research and development in the renewable energy sector.

 

Central China’s Hubei, a landlocked province, is known for its aggressive investments in green and sustainable development. The provincial government had recently announced a 1.3 trillion yuan (US$203 billion) investment in 91 major projects in an effort to pursue sustainable development.

 

The ‘Hubei Provincial Enterprise Advanced Technology Center’ is the province’s highest technology innovation honor. A committee led by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission in coordination with major departments including the Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Provincial Finance Department, Wuhan Customs, and the Provincial Taxation Bureau oversee the selection process for the honor.  Companies with strong capabilities and excellent innovation mechanisms are eligible for recognition.
